TCS with backup battery management can warn of power failure and more.
Battery management option consists of:
- On-board battery charger with current limiter that charges lead battery constantly with an intelligent
algorhythm.
- Special firmware in the TCS microprocessor that verifies external power presence and sends
alarms (if enabled) when power misses or comes back.
There is also a special battery protection algorhythm that will send a SWITCHING-OFF warning and
will switch off the unit before battery voltage goes below a level that would deteriorate it forever.
With battery option installed you can connect any unstable source of power to the TCS, like Solar Panels or other generators
in the range 12-24 VAC or 15-40 VDC and the TCS will manage power and charge battery efficiently.
The TCS Battery management is a smart TCS UPS on board.
Battery is not included (it may come with TCS-BOX).
Due to charge current supplied by the board, we recommend a 1.2A to 7A lead battery.
